Kitchen Remodel – Elk Grove Village, IL

The customer has a house in Elk Grove Village, IL built in the 80’s. He was still using the original kitchen that was installed when the house was built. Everything was dated and it was the right time for a renovation.

Our team did everything, from A to Z. We broke down hauled away the old cabinets, removed the floor tiles, soffit, and pretty much everything outside of the room. Then we put in new drywall and re-painted the ceiling and walls.

The client was looking for something modern and an increased amount of storage. We suggested this tri-color design, where the wall cabinets are a different color from the ones stepping on the floor and the third color is the stainless steel appliances. The lower cabinets, the island, the pantry, and the fridge cabinet are in a dark navy blue color while the wall cabinets are in a creamy white.

The storage space significantly increased. The new wall cabinets were much larger, going all the way to the ceiling. The added pantry and large cabinet above the fridge also added more storage space. The huge island has two rows of cabinets as well. We added more seating space on the island.

The quartz countertops beautifully finished the space. We used quartz countertops for the backsplash as well which made this kitchen stand out. Another key element is the apron front fireclay sink which adds to the modern look.

Finally, we finished the interior with high-quality waterproof wood-style vinyl flooring which added an amazing warm look and feel to the whole project.

We also wired embedded LED lights under the upper cabinets, all controlled by a single wall switch.
